castings of complicated shape used in jute mill
machineries over the years. This captive Foundry has the
in-house infrastructure for bulk production of 300MT of
liquid metal to cater to the needs of
customer. It is managed by professional managers and engineers for continuous
development of the product and process. |

The assets of this unit
have recently been acquired by Lagan. It is located at Khanyan, Hooghly. The revamping of
this unit is in progress, which is expected to be completed
soon. |

This unit is capable of
producing 700MT of finished castings per month and also castings like
Ductile Iron, Grey Iron and Alloy Steel. |

The
Foundry Division has extensive facilities with Furnaces
and modern equipments like Automatic Moulding Machine,
mechanised Sand Plant and Shot Blasting Machine which
enable steady supply of components for the main
workshop. |
